100% organic coffee Tanzania
This is an aromatic coffee from East Africa. According to legend, coffee was brought to Tanzania by the Haja people from Ethiopia in the 16th century. The coffee beans of the Haya were traditionally cooked, then smoked for several days and then chewed. The coffee we know today came to Tanzania with the Catholic missionaries in 1898. The Arabica varieties Kent, Nyssa, Bourbon and the coveted Blue Mountain beans are cultivated in particular. In a comparison across Africa and in particular, compared to its neighbouring country Kenya, coffee from Tanzania is characterized by tenderness and a very reserved acidity.
